Not to be used on any patient who is allergic or hypersensitive to zirconia or any other product ingredients.

Composition:

Physical Properties:

Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (25-500℃): 10.5×10-6/K

Flexural Strength: 1000-1200Mpa

Chemical Solubility: <1%

Vickers Hardness: <0.2%

Type / Class: Type II / Class 5

Principles & Restrictions:

Failure to observe the following principles may compromise material success. These include failure to observe the necessary minimum wall thicknesses and connector dimensions, sintering times, sintering in a non-compatible or non-calibrated sintering furnace, or milling the blanks in a non-compatible CAD/CAM system.

2. Design and Milling:

Maintain the following minimum wall thickness and connector dimensions during the design phase.

Positioning Guidelines:

Incisal zone: 3 mm

Transition zone: 3 mm

Dentin zone: 7-18 mm

Positioning Principles

Place restoration about 1 mm below the top of the incisal side of the blank.

Milling / Pre-sinter Finishing:

Mill the Harvest Nano® Zirconia disc in a compatible milling machine.

Once milling is complete, carefully remove the restorations from the disc by cutting the connectors with suitable instruments such as a long bur or separating disc.

Smooth the connection points with a grinding tool.

Complete all necessary adjustments in the pre-sinter state when possible. Pre-sinter zirconia is susceptible to damage so use appropriate grinding tools with only light pressure and at low speed.

After finishing, clean the restoration thoroughly with compressed air or a brush.

If wet milling was used to process the restoration, ensure that the restoration is completely dried before sintering.

3. Sintering Guide

The following sintering guide has been developed to provide optimal results for Harvest Nano® Zirconia.

Sintering Principles:

Do not let restorations overlap each other during sintering.

Use 1 layer of 2mm sintering beads for single units and bridges.

It is optional to use internal support for large bridges.

Allow the restorations to cool to room temperature before handling.

Shading Considerations

Higher than recommended temps reduce the chroma level of the restoration.

If shade is too light, adjust sintering program by lowering the high temperature by 50˚C or 25˚C.

If additional adjustment is needed, lowering by 50˚C will increase the chroma by approximately the equivalent of 1 shade. Once the correct high temperature is used to achieve the accurate shade, all other shades will sinter accurately with that same high temperature.

Sintering Programs

Post-sinter Finishing:

It is recommended to do as much finishing as possible in the pre-sinter state, keep post-sinter finishing to a minimum if needed. If grinding with diamond tools, use water cooling and apply only light pressure.

4. Final Processing

Polish or glaze the finished restoration. If glazing the restoration, adhere to the following guidelines:

Processing Principles:

Allow enough time for cooling in the stain and glaze firing. For bridges with large pontics, ensure that the oven does not start opening until it has reached 600˚C in the cooling stage. The vacuum must be applied during the stain and glaze firing. If the vacuum is not applied, then the chroma of the restoration will be light.

Warnings and Safety Information:

Zirconia disc milling creates dust. Ensure the use of proper suction equipment, dust masks and protective eyewear. Please reference the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) available on the Harvest Dental website (www.harvestdental.com).

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place and in the original packaging. Handle the product with care.                                              Do not drop or expose to physical impact.

Disposal Information:

Material must be disposed of in accordance with national legal requirements.
