Harvest Poly Splint™ 

Acrylic milling blanks for removable & temporary bite appliances. 


INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE – ENGLISH 

INDICATIONS FOR USE:

For the fabrication of crowns, bridges, and structures for implant supported provisional, removable denture, and appliance prosthetics. 

  • Provisional anterior and posterior crowns & bridges 
  • Implant and abutment-supported prosthetics 
  • Partial, complete and hybrid denture prosthetics (base and teeth) 
  • Removable appliances (splint) 


CONTRAINDICATIONS: 

  • Use for definitive restorations 
  • Bridge constructions with more than two pontics in one piece 
  • Patients with parafunctions, e.g., bruxism 

 

RESISTANCE: 

E-MODULUS: > 2.200 MPa 

BENDING STRENGTH: > 100 MPa 

 

COMPOSITION: 

  • Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and ester-based cross-linked polymers 
  • Color pigments 

 

SHADES: 

Clear (transparent) 

 

HAZARD WARNINGS: 

Dust is created during milling of POLY SPLINT™ blanks that can cause irritation of the eyes, skin, and airways. Always ensure the extractor on your milling machine is functioning perfectly. 


STORAGE / SHELF LIFE / DISPOSAL: 

No special storage measure requirements 

Shelf Life: 10 Years 

Disposal: PMMA can either be collected and recycled or disposed of in general waste 

 


WEAR DURATION: 

Up to 5 years 

 


WORKING INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • Mill resin discs while taking into account specific parameters for milling acrylic polymers. 
  • Check milled framework for obvious chips or cracks, use only fault free framework for temporary restorations. 
  • Ensure that object is dust-free. 
  • Use temporary, eugenol-free adhesive cements for installment inside the mouth.
