Acrylic milling blanks for removable & temporary bite appliances.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE – ENGLISH

INDICATIONS FOR USE:

For the fabrication of crowns, bridges, and structures for implant supported provisional, removable denture, and appliance prosthetics.

Provisional anterior and posterior crowns & bridges
Implant and abutment-supported prosthetics
Partial, complete and hybrid denture prosthetics (base and teeth)
Removable appliances (splint)

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Use for definitive restorations

Bridge constructions with more than two pontics in one piece

Patients with parafunctions, e.g., bruxism

RESISTANCE:

E-MODULUS: > 2.200 MPa

BENDING STRENGTH: > 100 MPa

COMPOSITION:

Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and ester-based cross-linked polymers

Color pigments

SHADES:

Clear (transparent)

HAZARD WARNINGS:

Dust is created during milling of POLY SPLINT™ blanks that can cause irritation of the eyes, skin, and airways. Always ensure the extractor on your milling machine is functioning perfectly.

STORAGE / SHELF LIFE / DISPOSAL:

No special storage measure requirements

Shelf Life: 10 Years

Disposal: PMMA can either be collected and recycled or disposed of in general waste

WEAR DURATION:

Up to 5 years

WORKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Mill resin discs while taking into account specific parameters for milling acrylic polymers.

Check milled framework for obvious chips or cracks, use only fault free framework for temporary restorations.

Ensure that object is dust-free.

Use temporary, eugenol-free adhesive cements for installment inside the mouth.
