INDICATIONS FOR USE:
For the fabrication of crowns, bridges, and structures for implant supported provisional, removable denture, and appliance prosthetics.
- Provisional anterior and posterior crowns & bridges
- Implant and abutment-supported prosthetics
- Partial, complete and hybrid denture prosthetics (base and teeth)
- Removable appliances (splint)
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Use for definitive restorations
- Bridge constructions with more than two pontics in one piece
- Patients with parafunctions, e.g., bruxism
RESISTANCE:
E-MODULUS: > 2.200 MPa
BENDING STRENGTH: > 100 MPa
COMPOSITION:
- Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and ester-based cross-linked polymers
- Color pigments
SHADES:
Clear (transparent)
HAZARD WARNINGS:
Dust is created during milling of POLY SPLINT™ blanks that can cause irritation of the eyes, skin, and airways. Always ensure the extractor on your milling machine is functioning perfectly.
STORAGE / SHELF LIFE / DISPOSAL:
No special storage measure requirements
Shelf Life: 10 Years
Disposal: PMMA can either be collected and recycled or disposed of in general waste
WEAR DURATION:
Up to 5 years
WORKING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Mill resin discs while taking into account specific parameters for milling acrylic polymers.
- Check milled framework for obvious chips or cracks, use only fault free framework for temporary restorations.
- Ensure that object is dust-free.
- Use temporary, eugenol-free adhesive cements for installment inside the mouth.
